Thank you for your interest in IBM's Engineering and Scientific Subroutine Library (ESSL) Community Edition.

If you are new to ESSL:

ESSL is a state-of-the-art collection of subroutines providing a wide range of mathematical functions for many different scientific and engineering applications. Its primary characteristics are performance, functional capability, and usability.

ESSL offers a collection of mathematical subroutines that are tuned for performance on IBM POWER technology-based servers. ESSL can provide outstanding performance through simple subroutine calls from floating-point engineering and scientific applications.

The Community Edition:

The ESSL Community Edition is a no-charge download, with no formal support from IBM.   However, assistance may be available Here.  

There are some use restrictions and limitations noted in the license.   The "Developers" limitation is for the Linux download; the "Non-Production" limitation is for the AIX download.  Please click on the "Continue to Agreement" button below to proceed.
