IBM Spectrum MPI Community Edition (CE) v10.4 is a high-performance, production-quality implementation of the Message Passing Interface (MPI).
It is widely used in the high-performance computing (HPC) industry, including some of the fastest (top500.org) supercomputers. It is based on the Open MPI v4.0 open source implementation of the MPI 3.1 standard.
IBM Spectrum MPI CE:
- Accelerates application performance in distributed computing environments.
- Provides a familiar, portable interface based on the open-source MPI and MPI standard.
- Enables easy porting of applications to other platforms to help accelerate time to market and improve application quality.
Note: This community edition is licensed for a maximun of 18 servers, and does not include support from IBM.
